PORTLAND, Ore. — Parents who have spent the last year coping with the coronavirus pandemic are now dealing with power outages caused by the recent snow and ice storms. KATU News spoke with an Ashland family who attended the third annual Kite Festival at the Lake of the Wood–an hour outside of Ashland. They say it was a fun respite to get outside and see the unique kites.
