St. Louis Blues winger Jordan Kyrou was knocked out of Saturday’s game against the host Ottawa Senators with an apparent left leg injury after a collision along the boards early in the first period.

Kyrou was playing the puck and was hit by Senators forward Stephen Halliday just 2:52 into the game. Kyrou was attended to by Blues head athletic trainer Ray Barile and was helped to the locker room. He did not return to the game, which was scoreless after one period.

Kyrou, 27, has 16 points (eight goals, eight assists) in 28 games this season. For his career, he has 158 goals and 190 assists in 444 regular-season games since making his NHL debut in the 2018-19 season. He also has three goals in seven playoff games.

St. Louis selected Kyrou in the second round of the 2016 NHL Draft.
