Tired of the lockdowns and restrictions? Yes, we all are. Rep’s Nearman, Reschke and Post are co-chief sponsors of a resolution that would end this mess. House Joint Resolution 18 would end the “emergency” and the Executive Orders. BUT…..and this is the hard part…..there are only 23 Republicans in the House. To pass this, it requires 17 Democrats out of 37 to join our 23. That means YOU need to email those Democrats in the Oregon House and demand they “move HJR 18 to the floor” immediately! HJR18 is a single sentence bill that is currently in house committee. It would end the governors emergency declaration and reads:

“Be It Resolved by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Oregon:

Pursuant to ORS 401.204, the state of emergency declared by the Governor in Executive Order 20-03 on March 8, 2020, relating to the COVID-19 outbreak in Oregon, is terminated”.

It is time to end the emergency powers! I totally agree with this statement:
